PR Release

In the months leading up to christmas 2007, 4600 Articles were written on Australia about the stress that comes with preparing for and buying gifts for friends and family. As much as Christmas is the festive season, it seems it’s also a very stressful season.   It is no secret that we are living in an age where the average person is increasingly time poor and constantly seeking ways to make their lives more efficient and less stressful.   Saturdays used to be a day of rest with some sport thrown in. Nowadays Saturdays have become days to house hunt, buy cars, shop, clean the house and ferry kids between sporting events.   Then throw in the mayhem of Christmas shopping and one’s weekend has all but disappeared.

“I am very passionate about my friends and family and like to show them I care through the gifts I buy” stated Tracey who developed
www.TheGLink.com.  “My friends and I do not get to spend as much time together as we used to, so it’s harder to know exactly what gifts to buy at Christmas and for other important occasions e.g. birthdays, housewarmings etc.  I used to spend hours shopping for that special something, but often I’d walk out with a Gift Card which felt impersonal. TheGLink.com was an idea that I created to help solve what I felt was a dilemma in a lot of peoples’ fast paced lives.”

With four months until the biggest gifting season of all, TheGLink.com could be the stress saver that you’ve always needed but never had. "This site really lends itself to people who have friends and family overseas," Tracey said "so I felt it was important to make it a truly global service".
